financial planning

An average man and woman dies at the age of 83 and 87 respectively nowadays.

The age of retirement is 65.
As a woman, I will have to live 22 more years without any income.
22 years x $2000 a mth x 12 mths = $528,000.
That is provided you do not have other commitment/ liability/ sickness... & I am intending to retire 15 years earlier than that!!!

My financial advisor told me that:
I need an emergency fund which is 30% of my average expenses in 3 mths.
I need $150 per session x 3 times a wk x 4 times a mth x 12 mth x 3 yrs = $64,800 for chemotherapy should I fall ill.
I need an average of $10,000 for my own funeral if I am dead.
I have two parents and michelle junior(s) who are dependent on me.
How much money do you save in a month?
How much money do you have in your bank account?
How much money do you plan to save in 5 years time?

How? Like that how???

Belgium Taste

You are not supposed to take out the Kwak glass from it's handle!
I am no alcoholic!

Draft

Stella Artois Draught

Alcohol: 5.2%

Character: A light, golden lager, this is the world’s best selling Belgian beer. Crisp, with delicate hop aromas, it’s the ideal thirst quencher on a hot day.

Hoegaarden Blanche Draught

Alcohol: 5%

Character: This refreshing cloudy beer has hints of coriander and orange peel. Light, spicy and refreshing in this tropical climate.

Leffe Blonde Draft

Alcohol: 6.6%

Character: A dry, fruity beer with a creamy palate and subtle clove aromas. It’s roots can be traced back to the Abbaye Notre Dame De Leffe, founded in 1152.

Leffe Brune

Alcohol: 6.3%

Character: A Dark Brown Abbey Ale, with a high degree of bitterness but perfectly well balanced with the caramel sugar sweetness & chocolaty flavours.
Exclusive to Oosters in Singapore.

Artisan

Duvel

Alcohol: 8.5%

Character: A “Devil of a beer” this golden ale has delicate fruity aromas with hints of apple and a crisp finish. Deceivingly drinkable, this is our best selling bottled beer.

Pauwel Kwak

Alcohol: 8%

Character: This double fermented amber ale displays earthy aromas and a light vanilla/liquorice taste. Named after the innkeeper who first brewed it in 1791, it is served in its own miniature yard of ale glass.

La Chouffe 75cl

Alcohol: 8%

Character: First brewed in 1982, this relatively new beer is a golden ale with a spicy, slightly hoppy taste. A second fermentation occurs after bottling. The 75cl bottle makes it ideal for sharing.

Hoegaarden Grand Cru

Alcohol: 8.7%

Character: Pale golden in colour, quite fruity in both taste and aroma, and has a warm finish. Grand Cru is not a wheat beer, being made solely from barley malt.

Mc Chouffe 75cl

Alcohol: 8.5%

Character: This dark ale is coffee coloured and very thick. Hints of chocolate, sweet and somewhat spicy in taste, Mc Chouffe is inspired by the legend of a Scottish gnome! Again, ideal for sharing.

Hoegaarden Forbidden Fruit

Alcohol: 8.5%

Character: Deep red, mellow and full bodied, with hints of roasted malt, coriander and dried orange peel. Succumb to the temptation…

Palm

Alcohol: 5.2%

Jupiler 25cl

        - a place where you wanna be -

I have tried Timmermans Framboise, Leffe and Kwak. Just love the taste and the glasses!
Belgium is the paradise for beer.
Each glassware was designed specially to bring out the taste of each beer.
But be carefully when using the traditional glass while having your Kwak! Hehe.
Definitely going back for the food. Lovely place.

have u seen her?

the story doesnt end there... here i am looking for a room... and it is so bloody difficult cos it is
so bloody expensive... and time is running out!

thousand and one reason for me to move out...
- the landlord is selling her flat
- she uses her key to open our room door whenever she feels like, this includes when we are       sleeping in the room, dressed or undressed in the room
- she let her friends stayed in the room next room while the tenant went back to KL, and left
behind some stuff for her to discover
- she cook when i just hung up my laundry
- she wanna sell us her coffee powder that she bought wrongly from the store
- it was almost a year and still no sight of the kettle she promised
- she collected 10 dollar for the gas which was initially told to be free of charge
- this reminded me that we paid half for the hot water installation when we first moved in
- she blast thai and la la musics ie tse dum dum dum kind anytime of the day 8am/ 3am
- she doesnt pay her phone bills/ utility bills!

only one reason to stay on
- cheap
- lazy

About a little girl

To avoid having to keep repeating the same old story, let me just put it down here...

I was new to the company... I joined my GM and his PA for lunch initially and formed a gang of 3...  It was nice of the GM to bring us out for lunch/ pick up & drop his PA on his way home/ exchanged with the PA when she ordered the wrong dish/ brought her for every single meeting big or small, formal or informal/ pinch the PA on her cheek... It was nice of the PA to make the GM tea everyday/ share the same drink every lunch/ suggest for places to have lunch/ give opinion on everything the GM buys/ buy things for the GM's kids/ make muffins for us...

I thought it was ok... it was demoralizing at times when you were so busy working your ass off and all they did was msn-ing/ walking in and out of the office/ leaving the office at 12 sharp to "run errands"/ leaving the office at 4pm for only-they-know what... Finally, people was sacked... one by one by the GM... I was told they werent performing... okay... the story began when the Corporate Manager was being asked to leave due to under performance... the whole team of 3 left together with him... new people was being employed and everything was in a mess and gets elevated to the CEO...

Yes, it wasnt so simple btw the 2 of them... and all of them in this office... they were both married-respectively and they are both together... they thought it was such a good disguised but everyone sees and everyone knows... there is something wrong... very wrong with the GM... i was being approached and apparently not the only one... i couldnt care less as i should be fine as i am always out with him and his girlfriend right? so naive of me... i was thought to be involved for going lunch together, in a threesome?! even clients look at me differently when i go for meetings... am i his new pets? what about all those things that he told us about so and so saying she missed him/ loved him? and whoever is not performing? all just right the opposite! words come ard and go ard... he has a reputation of approaching girls and such in the office, outside the office. asking if so and so loves him (i was one of them, asked twice, rejected twice) and also twisting the fact!!! but i was new! how would i know?! and i m here for the work and not all these things...

now he was asked to step down... and the whole of Corporate Team was being brought back... and he disappeared for 2 weeks while the PA got sacked by the CEO... you'd though it was such an embarrassing scene... just right the opposite, they though nobody knew what was going on and all these happened just caused people were jealous of him & her, that we should sympathize them for having to step down and pack and go... i knew this day would come... why didnt you, even until today? i almost broke down during that period knowing what was going to happen sandwiched in the middle!!! i m on the fence and i'm just there for a living waiting for a better chance to go...

sad to say, until today at this moment, they still thought nobody knew despite all my hints... it doesnt matter who, where and why anymore, does it? it is about learning from the mistake... which had fallen into deaf ears... i dont like this idea of bringing the whole team back, with increments and promotions... you might wonder what happened to those brought in as their replacement now that they are back... beats me... play on and i m out of here...
